Winchester model 97 Shotgun (E.M.F Import). An import that once was as common as a replica model 1851 Colt cap-n-ball revolver, this Chinese manufactured recreation of the model 97 Winchester has become extremely scarce. This is the first "97" that we have had in inventory for many months. This shotgun although unfired, shows the wear to the bluing on the feed tube that indicates the action has been racked on several occasions. This recreation of the Winchester model Ninety-Seven has the Walnut stock and forearm. The shotgun comes with the box and papers.

Uberti, model 1873 Winchester caliber .45 Colt, rifle. Years ago when the Uberti rifle was available in just the traditional .44-40 caliber, and had importers names that are now forgotten (Allen Firearms, Western Arms etc.) the four-hundred dollar price tag caused for me, many well considered thoughts before I finally broke down and made a purchase; now in hindsight I wish I would have purchased a couple of cases for later resale.  The Euro-Dollar coupled with inflation has the price tag of a new Uberti 1873 Winchester replica at over one-thousand dollars and climbing. The condition of this previously owned unfired replica Winchester is in factory new condition. The color case receiver is well defined which is not normally encountered in their current production.

Colt, .31 caliber Model 1849 Pocket Revolver, with loading assembly (Uberti) With the strength of the Euro-Dollar, and the cutting back of production by the Italian replica builders, the small frame model 1849 Pocket Colt replica revolvers has become quite unusual. This is a new-in-the-box Uberti .31 caliber revolver with a factory loading assembly. The receiver is color case finish as were the original Colt model which it duplicates.

Colt, model 1873 1st Model Revolver .45 caliber (Uberti). Considered to be the mainstay of the replicated “Cowboy Guns” the Uberti Cattleman is the one most commonly encountered when searching for a lesser priced used revolver. This Uberti is somewhat unusual in that it replicates the first model offered by Colt when production of that model started. To remove the cylinder on the first model, and likewise on this Uberti replica, you must loosen a screw in the front portion of the frame. In addition, this revolver has the Bullseye ejector rod tab. Many people refer to this model as the black powder model, but I will avoid this classification as it leads one to think that the cartridges must be loaded with blackpowder, and this is not the case; this revolver shoots the same .45 Colt ammunition as all the later model Uberti replicas. The barrel is four and three-quarter inches in length. The condition of this previously owned revolver is well maintained, with the most noticeable wear being that found on the cylinder where it engages the cylinder stop.

Winchester model 92 lever action rifle (EMF) caliber .45 Colt. John Wayne carried a model 1892 Winchester in many of his epic films, so what can we say that would better imply the quality of the model 92 lever action rifle. Short, light weight, and maneuverable; perfect when dealing with bad guys, Rossi manufactured, for E.M.F Company, many of these quality lever action rifles before those who look out for our well being decided that we could only be trusted with a rifle that had a safety; now all the Rossi lever actions are built with a hammer interrupt safety. This rifle is one of the quality early models that permit the shooter to decide when the gun is to fire by pulling the trigger. The finish on the octagon twenty inch length barrel shows 98% original blue, the stock has the few dings and scratches that demonstrate the use by the previous owner. The stock has a desirable medium brown finish which is most uncommon, as Rossi normally stains their stock a very dark color. The receiver is color case finished in an effort by E.M.F. to give the carbine length rifle a more Old West appearance.

Winchester, model 92 (brass receiver) .38/.357 Saddle Ring Carbine (Rossi). Chuck Conners, and John Wayne carried Model Ninety-Two Winchesters so a personal testimonial on my part is totally unwarranted. The twenty-inch round barrel is stamped HARTFORD a very recognizable name in reference to Nineteenth Century firearms, only in this case the name Hartford indicates that the importer is Early and Modern Firearms Company, or better known as EMF of California. EMF Company has done the Winchester firm one better by adding a brass receiver to this model of their imported 92’s. The brass receiver provides a look of the Old West that was found on the earlier Winchester and that is an okay thing. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn with elevation adjustment possible. The crescent buttplate is brass as well to balance the appearance of the brass receiver. The Walnut stock has a length of pull of twelve and three-quarter inches. As with all current production firearms this model has a safety located in front of the hammer.

Henry .22 Magnum Golden Boy lever action rifle. If a new firearms company, especially one in New York, is to survive at this time in history it must have a very good product to offer to the American shooter; Henry has proved to be just such a company. The fit and finish is a duplicate of the quality of workmanship encountered in an inspection of quality guns of the Nineteenth Century. In addition to the excellent appearance is the function which gives the impression of firearms with a much higher price. The lever travel, as it locates and feeds the .22 Magnum ammunition, is very short. In addition to the speed of cycling rounds, which this creates, the function is extremely smooth. The magazine capacity is twelve rounds of .22 Magnum ammunition. The sights are factory installed Marble Semi-Buckhorn elevation adjustable. The weigh of the rifle is six and three-quarter pounds. This is a previously owned firearm that shows no signs of use, and comes with the box and papers.
