Buckskin Pants, Western Rendezvous Style. With a waist that measures thirty-one inches (a true tape measurement) few of us need to read on, but, if you have kept away from tailgate parties, and abandoned the couch and television set, then these buckskin pants may be of interest. The inseam measures twenty-six inches. The love of muzzleloading led us down a path that eventually ends in the recreation of history, not only in our firearms, but in our camping and dressing styles as well. These pants will require a few new horn buttons for the fly; the previous owner removed the originals. As these buckskins were at events in the past the moniker of "Green Horn" will not be necessary when you take possession.

Buckskin Skirt (Ladies) Rendezvous. Buckskinning events can be so much fun when you and a bunch of like minded rendezvous'er are sharing manly conversation around the campfire of a primitive Buckskinner Camp. Sure, if your wife was to be privileged to the conversation you would be corrected by her chancing you around camp with a Willow branch. A gift of this skirt will eliminate the possibility of her appearing unannounced at the campfire conference. The thirty-one inch waist and thirty inch length of Ladies buckskin skirt is adorned with jingle bobs that will foretell of her arrival in time to change the conversation to a more feminine appreciated topic. This skirt was previously owned and will remove the impression of "Green Horn" whenever worn.

Mountain Man (Otter) Hat. Charlton Heston starring in "The Mountain Men" must have been the inspiration for the design of this recreation of the headgear common to the 1840's trappers of the Rocky Mountain region. The hat is made from a winter kill Otter and is the full length hide face included. The eyes have been replaced with red wool; not those dumb look glass eyes. The black leather brim is sewn under the face portion of the Otter. The inside of the hat is lined with red plaid wool. The label state that the hat was made by SOUTH FORK TRADES-FORT COLLINS. CO. The size is seven and one-half. This is a previous owned Mt. Mans hat.

| Coon Skin Hats. Dan'il Boone wore a coonskin hat, or so they say. True or not, the coonskin hat set the stage for all of us to want one when we were kids. Why I can remember to this day raising such a fuss that my Mother was forced to buy one for me just to shut me up. I can recall wearing it everywhere including church. When I saw these hat available I just knew that the kids today would want one just as bad as I did, so I added them to our inventory. Funniest thing though, it isn't the kids that are buying them, it's the adults. Seriously, it is the people our age and they are wearing them to the muzzleloading shoots. I guess that's no more strange than folks dressing up like Cowboys at the Single Action Shooters Society events. An explanation might be that dressing up differently is just something that is fun, and we don't need to explain that. By the way, the tail is raccoon and the top is rabbit, but who cares it all looks like raccoon.

| Straw hats from the 19th Century. I just said 19th Century to get your attention, as in fact the straw was common into the middle of the Twentieth Century, and as far back as our Revolution. Well, now that you have read this much we might as well go on. If you attend the Civil War re-enactments, Buckskinning rendezvous' or just hang out at the muzzleloading matches the straw hat identifies you as a rebel again the hustle and bustle of the modern day world. You would never advise someone wearing a straw hat to slow it down, or quite working so hard. The hat alone would signify a person with a more relaxed nature. Even if you have no historic interests the straw hat can be your way of silently letting those you come in contact with know just what they can do with the sixty-hour work week.

| Cowboy (straw) hat. First of all, it doesn't look like a hat that's brand new, this fact alone will protect your reputation. The other folks that wear the Western hat on a daily basis will only assume that you are one of them, and avoid the remarks such as GREENHORN! Another great feature is that this hat will stay looking just this way for an eternity. The shape rebounds well even after the roughest use. So in other words " Pardoner, that's a fine looking hat you have there!".

Plantation Hat. Yes, this is representative of the overseer hat of the Deep South Plantation, or the South West during the 1830's. Check out any of the Alamo movies; this is the hat! Your impression may demand this hat to create the image your primitive attire requires. It can be Deep South, Western, or just plain Old West. This is not a costume hat, but a true quality straw hat designed to be worn. Even under hard use the shape will stay intact.

| Cowboy Hat. Yeah, Pardoner! This is it, the real Cowboy hat. If your shootin' Cowboy Action you know how hot a felt hat can get; why it's enough to fog your spectacles. This straw hat is plenty big, as far as the brim goes, to eliminate most of the sun that keeps you from shootin' good. The only draw back to this hat is that if your lever action rifle throws the brass straight up it is liable to land on the brim. But, that's okay because when you get the unloading station just tilt your head down and your brass is retrieved.

New suspenders
In what 19th Century event can you take part without a pair of these? None! Frontier America was a suspender Mecca. Everyone wore suspenders, at least the men folk. If you are a cowboy action shooter these old fashioned looking suspender are perfect. First, they come in a selection of colors that will place you on the best dressed list over all those lack of inspiration shooters who wear the red suspender ( of course we offer red as well, for those guys!) and these are elastic so they don't rip off the button when you bend over to pick up the spent brass. I know, they didn't have elastic in the 1870's, but those old time guys weren't thirty pounds over weight either. Anyway, they look the time period and that's better than wearing a big oval silver buckle and belt.
COLORS: Red, Chocolate, Charcoal Gray, Black
