Voted rifle of the year in 2001 the Henry .22 caliber lever action recreates a rifle from a period in America's history when every boy owned, and was familiar with the use and function of a rifle; in most instances it was chambered in caliber .22; a time before there was a stigma connected with shooting. Henry Company's contribution to the shooting fraternity has done a great deal to reinstate commonsense views towards firearms. The lever action function, and the octagon barrel is reminiscent of rifles from years gone by, and after firing just a few shots we understand why shooting was once universally considered fun. This is a like new rifle, with only some light discoloration located on the crescent buttplate; made in America.

Harford model 92 Saddle Rifle cal. 45 Lever Action. The rifle is stamped E.M.F. Hartford. The round barrel measures twenty inches in length, and is chambered for the popular .45 Colt caliber. This Rossi replica of the Winchester model 1892 has extremely nice bluing. The wood, like all Rossi manufactured Winchester model 92's, is stained dark, but not so dark as to hide a very nice wood grain. The rifle shows little indication of use and would pass for a new rifle if it were not for a small area of wear from storage on a display rack found just forward of the forearm.
