Springfield, model 1864 (antique) Musket.
There are two inspector cartouches display prominently on the side of the stock opposite the lock assembly. The exterior of the barrel and remaining metal surfaces have a brown patina common to all un-restored antique firearms. The rear sight is missing, but with reason; the bore has been freshened and the rifling has been removed. There is a small groove cut on the top of the rear barrel band which I assume is to provide sight alignment similar to that found on today's shotguns. The bore is bright.

Shotgun, exposed hammers, (antique) 12ga DBL.
The locks are marked Central Arms Co. St. Louis Mo. This antique shotgun has been re-blued which makes it difficult to tell if it is Damascus steel, the fact that the muzzle is quite thick indicates that it is not. The bore will factor at ninety percent. The stock has been sanded. The bore is bright. The stock has a crack running reward from the lock assembly.
