Spencer Civil War Carbine.
The serial number located on this Civil War Spencer is 491XX. The most common problem encountered with the Spencer Carbines and Rifles is the weak portion of the stock where the feed tube hole is drilled. This carbine has the start of the all too common crack, but it is still in the beginning stages. Otherwise, the condition would be considered somewhat better than normally encountered. This carbine has the post war Stabler Cut Off alteration.

Remington No.4 Single-Shot .32 Rim fire Rifle.
Not uncommon, with the exception of those in this condition. The factory blue on the barrel is beginning to develop a plumb appearance. The sights are original. The hammer and block retain a high percentage of factory blue. The stock is free of signs of abuse with the only exception being a couple of one-half inch cracks forward of the metal buttplate in the area of the heal.
