Shot Snake, shoulder carry adjustable: (for muzzleloading shotguns). A correction to the televised misconception, muzzleloading shotguns shoot a measured amount of shot and powder, not just an indiscriminate amount poured down the bore. With this being the case the shot snake enables the fowler to be loaded with consistent shot charges dropped from a convenient leather shoulder carry bag. Lead shot requires the most comfortable method of field carry and the shot snake is the proven best method. The look is definely period for authenticity and adds speed to a necessary reload.

The muzzle is factory equipped with a screw-in choke; it is not marked as to choke restriction. The camouflage is Real Tree Hardwoods. The bore is mirror bright. The pictured choke wrench comes with the barrel. This is what we know about the barrel, what we do not know is the model Traditions inline which the barrel is designed to fit? For this reason the price is less.

Powder Horn with Leather Strap. The base plug is recessed into the sculpted base of the horn. In addition to being recessed the plug is also fitted with a brass screw-in plug for ease of filling when low on powder. The horn displays the rugged appearance of the horns carried by our ancestors although this horn has only been in service for the past thirty years. Previously owned by a modern day Buckskinner the horn shows enough wear to convince most that it is a true antique.
